It’s a wrap on The Advancing Women in Agriculture Conference. Two full days of learning, networking, meeting old and new friends and recording 5 new Impact Farming Episodes. I am chillin and needing the down time!
What an experience rich couple of days. Highlights include; Dianne Finstad interview, seeing great friends like Billi Miller, Candace Hill, Tamara Carter and AWC ladies. Seeing Tamara Carter share her story on stage “Cow town to Cow Patties.” I know she was nervous but she ABSOLUTELY rocked it. I was so proud of her and I definately see speaking engagements in her future.
Show fans coming up to the booth and saying they listen to all my shows and chatting with women who once I introduce myself, they share that they know our show. Here are some photo highlights:
It’s amazing how different I am and how different life is from now compared to this past October. Now it’s absolutely mind blowing how different I am now, compared to when I attended the Western event for the first time back in 2015. I think I may have attended her very first event. I believe it was 2015.
I also have a sneaking suspicion, gut feeling, intention or shall I even say plan that our presence at the upcoming events will even look even brighter ? I have dreams, goals and plans. And just like way back then till now, and now till fall and years from now…I am excited to see what the future has in store. I will just continue to put one foot in front of the other, show up and bring value to our audience and audience, set my goals and dreams and then WORK so hard to achieve them. Amazing what a dream, sacrafice and unbelievable amounts of hard work can achieve!
Well I better run. It’s time to cut off social media and unwind. I have 3 days of client meetings in Calgary and Vancouver this week yet.
Do you have a dream? If so, fantastic BUT a dream is not enough. What are you doing on a daily basis above and beyond your daily requirements to work specifically on your dream?
Your Dream Believing & Achieving Friend,
