Day 62: Words & Hearts

March 3, 2019 by Tracy 12,758 Comments

So a lady posted this quote today on Twitter and it really stuck with me.

Words and hearts should be handled with care for words when spoken and hearts when broken are the hardest things to repair.

I saved the picture quote. Then I finished watching “A Star is Born” with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. Aside from how good the movies was, the ending really got to me. It struck that same cord that the picture meme from earlier in the day did. Be careful of your words. You cannot take them back and you never know the damage you may cause with them.

Have you ever said things you regretted dearly after the anger cooled off? Unfortunately, I must admit that I have. If we are truthful, each and every one of us has. We are all perfectly imperfect human beings doing this thing called life. We get mad and we make mistakes. However in our anger we need to remember the words on this quote. I will include them again. Read them over and think on them.

Words and hearts should be handled with care for words when spoken and hearts when broken are the hardest things to repair.

Words are POWERFUL. Are we lifting others up or tearing them down with our words. Even if people are petty or immature, do we take the bait and swoop to their level or do we turn the other cheek?

In a world full of darkness, let’s be a light for others that need it. ✨✨✨

Your Words & Hearts Loving Friend,

Tracy

Day 61: Less Doing, More Feeling

March 2, 2019 by Tracy 13,333 Comments

For as far back as I can remember, I have been hustling, learning, achieving, improving and building businesses. Today I found myself in a position where I was looking for something to do. I was driving to town to do my Saturday groceries and I was planning my afternoon agenda for when I got back.

I considered starting some new initiative or working on one of the businesses and then I heard these words “Less Doing, More Feeling.” It was strange. Not sure where that came from. Higher wisdom, divine guidance..call it what you may. It was clear, and I immediately took a deep breath, shook my head and said yes that is so right. Those words felt so right. Instead of doing, I finally needed to enjoy being. I figured it was about that that I went to visit my mother in law. Week after week and day after day, I always pass by her place in a mad rush to get home from work or groceries and get stuff done.

So visit I did. We had a great visit and got all caught up. I came home to make country fried steak and roasted cauliflower for supper. Now, I am about to grab a book and relax for my Saturday. I rented “A Star is Born” but for some reason, I don’t feel like watching it. I am weird that way. Being committed to a 2.5-hour movie is like serving a death sentence and then in the same breath I could easily watch 2.5 hours of Netflix or read without a moment’s thought. Anyways, signing off for the evening.

Your Just Being Friend,

Tracy

Day 60: Missed Opportunity

by Tracy 6,646 Comments

Goodness gracious. The initial excitement of blogging daily has completely vanished and now I am left with one more thing to do. Excitement gone. No external feedback and busy schedule…this new habit is slipping big time.

This is where the rubber meets the road and most people begin the fail. They quit because it’s becoming “hard” and they are not getting anywhere. Good thing I know better. Good thing I realize that it takes an incredible amount of work x 10 before you see the results. Because of that, and my strong discipline, I will push onwards because this is worth doing and aligns with my end goals.

I will continue on, but before pushing ahead blindly, I need to once again realize that this is not working. Leaving till the very end of my day means that I am out of energy and it often gets forgotten. What am I going to change here?

Your Habit Assessing Friend,

Tracy

p.s. What good habit are you creating that will take you one step closer to creating your dreams?

Traveling back from Brandon, Manitoba where I met with two MNP Business Advisors and recorded a total of three videos. Stopped and visited with my parents and my little nephew. Totally forgot to post last night. Sorry guys!
