Very fitting for my friends here on #AgTwitter that continue to show up each year, plant/tend their crops and work hard in faith of the harvest to come. Here’s to a successful 2019 for everyone🍻 #reap #hardwork #faith #believe #persistence #plant19 #calving19 #CdnAg #agriculture
So people often wonder what I am reading at the moment. Today, I must share one of the greatest books of all time. It is very likely THE founding book of the self help movement, and it’s the book of which a large majority of the rest of books were born from. The ideas within have created many millionaires.
It’s a book that I have had on my shelf for many years, and is now the subject of my obsessive study. You see, I am on a mental cleanse and recharge. A much needed mental recharge. It’s been a fun couple years of some hard business lessons, now it’s time to move on. Cleanse. Recharge. Launch again
The book is “Think and Grow Rich” by Napolean Hill. You probably recognize the name. It’s a classic. If you don’t have it, I recommend you toss what you are reading and run to your nearest book store to buy it.
I have the audio book and an old printed copy and I want to read this every day like Bob Proctor did and does. He is a legend himself and starred in the secret.
This book is rekindling the fire, putting a fire in my belly, and a pep in my step. It’s brewing. I have shut out all other books and podcasts and I am only allowed to read three self help books from now till goodness knows when.
That is exactly what I was telling myself as I worked till 8:00 pm completing urgent work that is crucial to our business. Work that was done by a former employee that gave her notice on last Friday. It’s actually all ok. I believe things happen for a reason and I am using the opportunity to improve this area of the business.
Your Grinding Friend (well this one sounds a little….🤔)
