Day 71: AWCA 2019 West Is a Wrap

March 12, 2019 by Tracy 9,961 Comments

It’s a wrap on The Advancing Women in Agriculture Conference. Two full days of learning, networking, meeting old and new friends and recording 5 new Impact Farming Episodes. I am chillin and needing the down time!

What an experience rich couple of days. Highlights include; Dianne Finstad interview, seeing great friends like Billi Miller, Candace Hill, Tamara Carter and AWC ladies. Seeing Tamara Carter share her story on stage “Cow town to Cow Patties.” I know she was nervous but she ABSOLUTELY rocked it. I was so proud of her and I definately see speaking engagements in her future.

Show fans coming up to the booth and saying they listen to all my shows and chatting with women who once I introduce myself, they share that they know our show. Here are some photo highlights:

It’s amazing how different I am and how different life is from now compared to this past October. Now it’s absolutely mind blowing how different I am now, compared to when I attended the Western event for the first time back in 2015. I think I may have attended her very first event. I believe it was 2015.

I also have a sneaking suspicion, gut feeling, intention or shall I even say plan that our presence at the upcoming events will even look even brighter ? I have dreams, goals and plans. And just like way back then till now, and now till fall and years from now…I am excited to see what the future has in store. I will just continue to put one foot in front of the other, show up and bring value to our audience and audience, set my goals and dreams and then WORK so hard to achieve them. Amazing what a dream, sacrafice and unbelievable amounts of hard work can achieve!

Well I better run. It’s time to cut off social media and unwind. I have 3 days of client meetings in Calgary and Vancouver this week yet.

Do you have a dream? If so, fantastic BUT a dream is not enough. What are you doing on a daily basis above and beyond your daily requirements to work specifically on your dream?

Your Dream Believing & Achieving Friend,

Tracy

What an amazing Day 1 at #AWCA2019

Great speakers, networking, new friends and some ? bonus goodies for attendees. Thank you to The Advancing Women in Agiculture Conference, you have really outdone yourself once again in bringing amazing  women in agriculture together.

Watch for great new Impact Farming episodes including; Kellie Garrett (farm Coaching), Dianne Finstad (Her life and career), Michelle Cederberg (Success Energy Equation) and Gail Schafer & Jonathan Small from GARS (A Seat at The Table).

I cannot even begin to list all my social media people I just met in person plus new friends made. I will save that for another post!

Gotta head to bed and get rested for a busy and exciting day #2 of the conference.

Day 43: Crop Connect & Rick Mercer

February 14, 2019 by Tracy 11,615 Comments

Great day of learning happening at #CropConnect19 with a wide variety of topics being covered including tech, data, farm financials, protecting your land & more.

It has been so neat to meet many of my social media friends in real life for the first time and see so many others again. I love the agriculture industry.

A great day turned into an amazing evening with a keynote by Rick Mercer.

Rick Mercer is in the house ?? at #CropConnect19 After long flight delays in Toronto @rickmercer has finally arrived in Winnipeg. He is in full form and started off with a good ole rant about Toronto and their tendency to panic over snowflakes  ? #herewego #greatnight #AgTwitter

What a great evening!

Your Star Struck Friend,

Tracy

Day 24: Impact Farming w/ Dave Gallant

January 25, 2019 by Tracy 15,909 Comments

‪Hey my fellow farmers! Did you know that over 82% of regular businesses fail because of lack of cash flow? What is that # for the agriculture industry where we only get paid once a year and need to pay bills year round?

That is why I recorded episode #25 for The Impact Farming Show. In this episode, I interview Dave Gallant from Canadian Canola Growers Association about Cash Advances as a financial management tool. Watch my short “Tracy’s Thoughts” video and make sure to head on over to Farm Marketer to watch the full episode. I included the link below as well.

I recorded this video at #AgExCon18 Conference by Farm Management Canada

You can watch the full interview at Farm Marketer Here
